Alimak scores big in Oz

Alimak Hek has won an order from Perth based D&G Hoist & Crane Hire for 50 Alimak Scando 650 hoists. The order covers a range of models and capacities, including 10 cars/units of the new Scando 650 FC-S 31/39 model with a capacity of 3,100 kgs with up to 4.6 metres car length, non-counterweighted and speeds of up to 100 metres a minute.

All units will include 50 metres of mast and the new modular Alimak landing door system.

The Scando 650 FC-S top of the line hoist

Deliveries will start this month, and will run through December 2009.

Gino DeCesare, managing director of D&G, said: "We have always had a long standing relationship with Alimak Hek and this certainly strengthens that relationship.
