JLG appoints Mexican parts distributor
JLG has appointed Aerial Parts, of Monterey, Mexico, a subsidiary of Grupo Ventumex, as its master parts distributor for Northern and Central Mexico.
The company says that “the partnership is a key component of its strategy to provide a full spectrum of aftermarket parts support for its customers around the world.”
Aerial Parts will stock a full inventory of replacement parts, including all JLG telehandler brands, including Lull, Gradall and Skytrak, in order to support all JLG customers in the region with a faster, more economical parts service.
JLG has also established an electrical component rebuild program in Mexico to provide factory rebuilt and service exhange components throughout South America. The programme will initially specialise in rebuilding controllers and joysticks. All rebuilt components will carry a one-year warranty.
Chris Mellott, JLG vice president of customer assurance, said: “These new partnerships allow JLG to enhance its responsiveness and effectiveness, thus reducing downtime, decreasing operating costs, and increasing uptime for our customers. Our growth in Mexico and Latin America has been strong, and we are proud to have a valuable partner with Grupo Ventumex on the JLG team.”
