Manitowoc back on track with Enodis

Manitowoc’s acquisition of UK based food equipment company Enodis, has moved closer with a revised implementation agreement between the two companies.

The terms of the agreement are roughly similar to those of its original agreement that was ‘trumped’ by a rival bid from Illinois Tool Works on May 8th.

Manitowoc increased its offer on May 19th and Enodis has now publicly stated that its board intends to recommend Manitowoc's increased offer to its shareholders
