Arc-Gen appoints three

Arc-Gen, the UK supplier of welder-generator equipment, has announced three appointments to its team based in Wolverhampton.

Darren Richards has been promoted to operations manager and will be responsible for overseeing Arc-Gen’s team of 15 technical staff. He is joined by customer support team leader, Tom Page and marketing executive Katherine McEwan.

Chief executive of Arc-Gen, Mark Hodgkins, said: “The appointments reflect the continued growth of the company and our commitment to invest in our people. We have recently reached the national finals of the Construction Industry’s Best Places to Work 2008 awards."

Arc-Gen has enjoyed steady year on year growth and recently broadened its product range with the addition of water pumps and pressure washers following the acquisition of West Bromwich based Hilta TW.
Other products also include mobile generators, welders, lighting towers and plasma cutters which are supplied to the rental, construction and fabrication markets.
