Skyjack scoops A-Plant award

A-Plant the UK division of the Ashtead group has named Skyjack as its 2008 supplier of the year for specialist products. The award was announced at the company’s annual conference, held this year at Celtic Manor, Newport, Gwent.

The award is particularly special in that the winner is chosen by the company’s depot and sales managers across the country, all of whom cast a vote in favour of the supplier that they feel offers the most exceptional all round service during the past 12 months.

Skyjack’s UK managing director, Charlie Patterson received the award on behalf of the UK team from A -Plant’s senior purchasing manager, Tony Grimshaw and chief executive officer Sat Dhaiwal. On accepting the award he said: “To be recognised by an organisation such as A-Plant is a great reward for all of us at Skyjack and we are delighted to receive this award!”
