Cronie joins Ainscough

Bryan Cronie, the well known crane safety specialist has joined Ainscough Crane Hire as its safety, health, environment, quality and training director. Cronie was previously with Mammoet Holding in the Netherlands as its corporate safety director.

Overall he has spent over 20 years in the crane industry, having also worked with Baldwin’s Industrial Services and Taylor Woodrow .

Cronie started his working life in the military and spent 22 years in the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers

Since joining the crane industry he has been very active within the working groups of CPCS and CPA Crane Interest Group and has been a regular presenter at the Crane Safety Conferences, both in London and the Middle East.

Neil Partridge, managing director of Ainscough said: “I am delighted Bryan has joined us and look forward to the wealth of experience he will bring us in the future.”

Cronie will take over the duties previously handled by Keith Hartis, its previous health safety and environment director who moved on to Kimberly Access late last month.
