He has held executive positions in both finance and sales promotion since joining the company in 1999 and was most recently vice president of sales and marketing for National Crane, prior to which he was vice president of finance and treasurer for Grove and group controller for Manitowoc in the Americas region.

Manitowoc Australia has grown significantly during Hull’s time in charge, expanding the company’s sales and building the organisation from eight to 29 people.

In his new position, Lukow will report to John Stewart, Manitowoc Cranes’ senior vice president of sales and marketing, Asia Pacific (not including China). Stewart said:
“We are pleased to have someone with such a tremendous track record to continue Manitowoc Australia’s ambitious expansion plans. John’s promotion is very well-deserved after huge success at National Crane. Under his leadership National’s market share increased by more than 12 percent with dramatic expansion into South America.”
