Change at National crane

Brian Peretin has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing for National Crane, replacing John Lukow who has moved to Manitowoc Australia.

Peretin will be responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing for the National Crane line of boom trucks, responsible for developing the company’s marke position in the Americas, while consulting on increasing Manitowoc’s business in Latin America.

Brian Peretin


Peretin was previously sales manager for Potain tower cranes and self-erecting cranes in North America.

Since starting out in the crane industry in 1993, Peretin has worked in a number of roles including product specialist for All-Terrain cranes, district manager for Grove and parts manager.

He will report to Dave Birkhauser, Manitowoc’s senior vice president of sales for the Americas. Who said: “We are looking to Brian to continue the good work at National Crane, which leads the industry in boom truck innovation and productivity,” he said. “The brand has a great legacy and a very loyal customer base and it is our job to ensure we keep working hard to meet customer expectations.”
