Where is the justice?

Some two weeks ago a Genie 45/22RT that had been stolen from Nationwide Access’ London West depot in November 2005 appeared for sale on ebay along with other plant and equipment. The equipment was said to be located in Staines, Middlesex.

The stolen Genie

When Nationwide staff spotted it they sensibly called the police and reported it. Doing the right thing. The police seemed only mildly interested and to date nothing appears to have been done about it.

The machine is serial number 5618 it still has Nationwide’s phone number on it. If you have bought this machine you are handling stolen goods, if you see it or are asked to supply spare parts for it, please contact us or Nationwide Access.

Vertikal Comment
It seems a shame that the police did not jump on this one, perhaps they are following up under cover? More likely they are sitting in the back of a van trying to catch speeding motorists.
