Omme receives export award
Danish aerial lift manufacturer Omme Lift has received the King Frederik IX’s prize for exports. The company has been exporting over 80 percent of its production in recent years, rising to 88 percent this year.

The company has also increased its revenues by 30 percent in each of the past three years with a 50 percent increase forecast for 2008.
The prize includes a statuette and a diploma and is presented by the prince consort, prince Henrik. Winners are entitled to use the logo of the award in the marketing of the company.
"We are very pleased that we and our employees have been selected to receive the prize. We see the prize as a recognition to all of us in Omme Lift for the results that we have achieved together", Said Torben and Harry Lorentsen both of whom attended the award ceremony.

Five prizes were awarded in all and the other recipients in 2008 are: F.L. Smidth, Sim-Corp, EC Power and Tican. As is normal, all recipients of this years awards export at least 80 percent of their production.
