Yet another photograph snapped last week of people in the UK not using proper access equipment. This one taken by a reader in the midlands who watched this man climb a ladder onto a four storey roof and then walk all over it as he checked it out.

Checking the roof out

In spite of the relatively steep pitch of the roof he had no safety gear at all and seemed oblivious to the dangers. No we tell a lie he had a yellow hi-viz vest on, probably had steel toecaps on his boots as well that will help when he falls.

Our series of photographs give an example of just how many people continue to work at height without using the appropriate equipment,

The market for aerial lifts and scaffold towers could expand significantly if only we can get the message accross to a fraction of these people. Not to mention the benefits of reducing accidents.
