RT tips into creek

A rough terrain crane tipped over yesterday morning on a bridge over the Snake Creek canal in northeast Miami-Dade, Florida. The operator, 57, was thrown around in his cab as the crane went over, but managed to climb out with just an injured ankle.

The RT tipped into the creek

The crane an old 35 tonner, was reported to have been lifting around 17 tons when it tipped. If so this is likely to have been very close to its maximum capacity, given the radius it appears to have been working at.
