New head at Hird training

Hull based cranes and access company Peter Hird has announced a new management team for its training division. Richard Dainty has been appointed as training manager, and will be assisted by Tony Armitage.

Dainty moves to Hird after several years as training manager with Willard Handling a forklift truck training company, prior to which he had a career in the armed forces.

He said “I am delighted to be part of this very professional and highly motivated organisation. I see the role as training manager a demanding but at the same time very exciting. I am been fully supported by a knowledgeable and highly qualified team of both Instructors and administration staff. I have been in the training industry for a good number of years now and in my opinion Peter Hirds are most certainly leading the way with excellent training and first class facilities.”

At present, Peter Hird training provides courses in access, manufacturing, construction, and lifting fields, as well as health & safety and is accredited by IPAF, PASMA, CPCS, City & Guilds, RTITB, and tLA.
