Boom lift operator electrocuted.

Lance Labelle a 26 year old construction worker from Pawhuska, Oklahoma, died after coming into contact with a live power lines while working from an aerial lift last week near Webbers Falls.

Labelle was employed by Calvary Construction to connect phases with new high-tension power lines. There was apparently no power to the lines, but a third line he came in contact by touching it with his hands, was a ‘hot line’.

Labelle was working from a truck mounted ‘bucket truck’, after the accident his co workers got another cherry picker and managed to lower him to the ground and gave him CPR in order to try and resuscitate him, sadly they were too late, it is likely that Labelle died instantly.

According to local police, Labelle was a member of the Osage Nation and his uncle is the owner of the construction company.
