Genie appoints compliance officer

Genie has appointed Luke Webber as senior compliance and applications engineer to provide direct customer product compliance and application support.

Genie says that Webber will be the central point of contact for product design and standards related questions from Genie customers.

Luke Webber

He will liaise with the Genie aftermarket support team, engineering, product management and product safety groups to address a variety of matters including product compliance with governing standards, proposed product modifications for special applications and product application questions that require special permissions or considerations prior to placing the machine on the work site.

He also will identify opportunities for new product development.

Webber joined Genie Industries in 1999 as a mechanical engineer with his most recent job being product managing for the North American telehandler line.
