Rental man electrocuted

A man working at an Xcell Energy nuclear power plant in Monticello, Minnesota, was electrocuted yesterday when his aerial lift touched overhead power lines.

The man was an employee of an equipment-rental company and was on site to help crews who were fixing a breaker problem that caused the plant to be shut down last week.

The plant is around 40 miles northwest of the Minneapolis – St Paul The man was airlifted to hospital where he died.
