Death Wish 32

A reader spotted three men in Hull in North East England, yesterday who clearly don’t have a clue about safe work at height.

The men were working outside of Club Rio on Anlaby Road in Hull the three men were putting up advertising banners up on the side of the building.

No concern about the HSE here, not to mention the cost of labour

One was up a long ladder trying to do a job that required his hands, while another had climbed out onto an unprotected area so that he could hang over the edge and help the man teetering on the top of the ladder.

The third man passed the banners to the other two, If only they new about an aerial lift one or at the most two men could have done the job quickly and safely. Once again it is clear that the market has a long way to go before it can be considered anything like mature.
