Socage and Altec to forge alliance

After months of discussion, Italian truck mounted and spider lift manufacturer Socage and American insulated lift and boom truck manufacturer Altec are expected to formalise their co-operation agreement.

The agreement will most likely begin in Italy where Socage is already prospecting for the Altec insulated boom range while in the UK Socage may look to Altec's distributor Kalmar for UK coverage, follwoing the demise of Allan Access.

The two companies are also expected to loosely promote each others products throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa where there are no distribution conflicts.
