Active appoints general manager

Active Rentals the Hamilton, Scotland based powered access specialist has appointed Ronny Traynor to the new position of general manager. Traynor will be responsible for all aspects of the rental and end user equipment sales divisions of Active’s business and will also oversee the company’s training division.

Traynor joins Active from Outreach, the Palfinger dealer and bespoke access specialist/manufacturer and has previously worked with Nationwide Access.

Andrew McCusker, Active’s managing director said: “I am delighted to welcome someone of the calibre of Ronny to our operation. We have enjoyed steady growth over the last six years, nevertheless as market forces tighten, we need to sharpen up and focus on exactly where we want to be in the market.”

Powered access use is still on the increase and there are still numerous markets and opportunities which are far from exhausted.”
