JLG offers extended warranties

JLG has launched an extended warranty program for all boom, scissor and telehandler products sold in the United States and Canada. Buyers can purchase the three or five year extended warranties when they order the equipment.

Tim Morris, JLG’s vice president of sales and market development for North America said: “Our customers look to us for innovative ways to enhance their profitability. In early 2008, we introduced an extended warranty for our ES scissors and the feedback has been outstanding. As a result, we’ve expanded this program to help customers enhance resale value and limit exposure to costly repairs.”

For booms and scissor lifts the options are a either a three year/3,000 hour or a five year/5,000 hour warranty. These two options are also available for telehandlers, with a third option of a five year/5,000 hour power-train only option. The warranties are specific to the machines itself and are therefore transferred to the new owner when sold.

The extended warranties are a continuation of the JLG’s standard warranty. Claims can be processed online via Online Express.

All of JLG’s ES,RT and LE Scissor lifts, all boom lifts and all JLG, Lull and SkyTrak telehandlers
