Liebherr hosts crane experts meeting

Liebherr Ehingen has hosted the first meeting of worldwide crane associations targeted at improving crane safety and co-ordinatiing other issues of common interest. More than 26 delegates attended the meeting from as far afield as Australia and North America.

Delgates at the first international meeting of crane association experts

Organisations represented included:
CICA -Crane Industry Council of Australia
ESTA -European Association of heavy haulage and mobile cranes
FEM -European Federation of Materials Handling
SC&RA -Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (USA)

A number of regulatory and other issues were discussed and the group agreed to continue a regular dialogue and meetings regarding safe crane operation worldwide.
