Patrick Mutel to leave Lavendon

Mutel joined the industry with Grove Manlift and was instrumental in making the Toucan brand a huge success. He then joined UpRight as marketing manager, when it became clear that Grove had no plans to remain in the aerial lift business long term.

He became vice president of sales and marketing for Europe, before joining the Lavendon group as managing director of its French Subsidiary, Zooom.

Following the merger of Zooom France and DK Rental at the end of 2007, Mutel moved to an international marketing role for the company, including overseeing the implementation of the group’s new corporate identity.

Mutel who is almost 60 will remain available for consulting work with the group. Throughout his access career he has remained firmly based in the South West of France where he has a smallholding with his wife Marie-France.
