Warylo takes Poland’s largest crane

Kran Warylo, the Polish based rental company has taken delivery of a 750 tonne Liebherr LG1750 lattice boomed truck crane, the largest crane in Poland.

The new crane is aimed at the growing market for the erection of wind power installations and joins an LTM 1500-8.1 and an LG 1550 that the company has been operating successfully on wind turbine work for some time.

Warylo has ordered the LG 1750 with the complete package of working attachments including 91 metres of main boom, 77 metres of luffing fly jib, back mast and suspended superlift counterweight pallet. The LG 1750 will also be used for some of the heavier lifts on new facilities planned for the European football championships in 2012 which will be hosted by Poland and the Ukraine.

Kran Warylo was founded in 1986 and is based in Szcecin where it employs 150.
