Plaskitt joins Greenwood

Scarborough, UK based telehandler rental company, Greenwood Hire has appointed Jon Plaskitt, as its southern area sales manager.

Plaskitt joins Greenwood following six years with JLG, first as UK telehandler demonstrator and more recently as UK national sales manager.

With a long background in the agricultural industry, including contracting experience in the USA, Plaskitt is already well versed with the market potential for telehandlers..

Greenwood Hire is the largest UK user of Merlo Panoramic and Roto telehandlers, with a fleet of some 140 units. Greenwood views itself as a specialist rental company and offers unique solutions to site management problems.

According to Plaskitt, the move to Greenwood provides him with the chance to join an expanding specialist rental company, where customer service into niche markets is of prime importance.
