JLG opens in Singapore
JLG, the aerial lift and telehandler manufacturer held an official ribbon cutting ceremony today to formally open a new sales and service facility in Jurong, Singapore.
The facility will be the JLG headquarters for retail sales, warranty, parts distribution, service and other Ground Support activities for the Asian market. The development joins a new production facility that the company is building in Tianjin, China.

The new JLG facility in Singapore
JLG president Craig Paylor said: “The Asian market has growth potential and JLG continues to concentrate efforts in those areas. With the opening of the new Singapore facility, JLG is better positioned to provide Ground Support, JLG’s industry leading aftermarket sales and service support to the Asian market.”
“This facility demonstrates JLG’s continued commitment to growing our business with customers in Asia and will provide a significant competitive advantage as we prepare for long-term growth in aerial work platform sales throughout the region.”
Kelvin Wong, director of logistics for the Singapore Economic Development Board commenting on JLG’s move into the city state said: "We are happy that JLG and Oshkosh have chosen Singapore to be home to its Centre of Excellence in Asia. This is a strong testimony to Singapore's attractiveness as both a strategic business gateway and regional distribution hub for businesses to serve the growing needs of customers throughout Asia.”
