More Skyjacks for Elavation

Elavation, the Milton Keynes, UK based aerial lift rental company has taken delivery of the first batch of 20 electric scissor lifts that it is adding to its fleet in 2009. The units are mostly small battery electric models, which along with specialist boom lift form that bulk of the growing company’s fleet.

Elavation is the Access Link member for the English Home Counties, and the company said: “Obviously the business circulated through the Link has helped hugely in this challenging environment. The Companies growth plan as it enters its fifth year is gathering pace, despite a toughening of rates and the overall business climate.”

Dispatchers Sandra Lakeman and Daniel Gonzalez, who claim to really run the show at Elavation, said: “This particular tranche of machines was ordered for a specific long term contract. The client demanded light, compact machines for lift access and the added security of quick release control boxes. Skyjacks fitted the criteria perfectly.”

“The environment that these will be on for the next four years meant that reliability and ease of use was the key. One of Skyjacks great benefits for Elavation has been the attitude of the Company. Very easy to deal with on all levels, and in these challenging times you need suppliers that stand behind their customers.”

Elavation was founded by Mani Gonzalez and Barry Brady almost five years ago and has built up solid local rental and training business with a fleet of over 250 units operating from a single location.
