New UpRight distributor in Slovakia

UpRight powered access has appointed Alpe Slovakia as the distributor for its aerial lift product range in Slovakia.

Alpe was founded as a transport and haulage company in 1993, by the Austrian company Alpe Handels GmBH, whose head office is in Enns, near Linz.
in 1994 Miroslav Bobek joined the company as managing director and in 1998 became a partner and the majority owner.

Recognising the potential for aerial work platforms in Slovakia, Bobeck established a small rental operation in Trnava, north east of Bratislava in 2006 and has worked closely with UpRight over the past two years, as it expanding its powered access operations.

An UpRight X26N in Alpe's rental fleet is prepared for dispatch

The company is now well established in the Slovakian market and has invested in the resources to become a full service distributor for UpRight, including a service centre and its own transport department, with three DAF trucks.

Bobeck said:"We have done a lot of work but this is only the start. Powered access is going to be a significant growth sector in Slovakia and we have big plans to expand as the market grows."
