Did you spot the problem?

Yesterday we posted a photograph of an older JLG boom lift which the sender had asked us if we could spot the error.

None of us here managed to see the issue he was referring to, we thought the power track brackets had been incorrectly located, and others thought the boom pivot pin looked wrong.

We have received dozens of responses from all around the world, but so far only six people have spotted the issue that the sender had in mind…. He sent us an email yesterday afternoon - just in case no one got it

Spot the problem

The most popular response was that the manual holder should be located in the platform, although this is not a universal requirement.
The next related to the boom pivot or location.
One person spotted that there were bad gashes in the tyres.

The actual answer was that the Back / front arrow - indicating the front and rear of the chassis – was located on the superstructure rather than the chassis, rendering it useless.

The first person to get it right was ………….Gordon Leicester of Facelift who clearly spotted it immediately and responded within the first few minutes. During the day five others also got it right…

Such was the response we might look at making this a regular feature when we migrate to the new website this month.
