Jones buys first new Link Belt

Jones Crawler cranes of Shaftsbury, Dorset, UK, has become the first company worldwide, to purchase the new 70 tonne Link Belt TCC-750 telescopic crawler crane.

The crane was exhibited this week at SED in Corby, UK, its first outing at a major exhibition. Mark Jones of Jones Crawlers travelled to the show, clearly intent on closing the first order with UK distributor NRC.

Jones was so confident that he was going to acquire the crane that he bought a set of the company’s decals with him and promptly applied them to the machine once the deal was done.

The new crane was developed in partnership with NRC and includes numerous features aimed at making it as versatile as possible. These include a telescopic three position undercarriage with load charts for each width, a hydraulically removable counterweight with separate load charts without counterweight and unrestricted side visibility from the operators cab.
