Myshak buys Foothills

Canadian based Myshak Crane & Rigging of Fort McMurray, Edmonton, Alberta, has purchased Foothills Crane Service of Red Deer, Alberta.

The president and owner of Foothills Crane Service, Doug McLellan, will remain with the business as branch manager of the Red Deer location. McLellan and his wife, Judy started in Red Deer in 1977 and acquired Foothills Crane Service in 1988.

Myshak president Corey Mitchell said: “Doug will be a great resource with his expertise and respect Foothills Crane Service has earned in the over 21 years of servicing the local community and their dedicated clients. We look forward to continued growth and success of this great combination of people and services.”

Myshak was founded in 1996 by Mike Myshak and his son Jim and runs a fleet which includes Liebherr and Tadano All Terrain cranes, Manitowoc, Liebherr and Terex crawlers and Grove and Tadano Rough Terrains.
