First 53m Wumag in Russia
The first Wumag Palfinger 53 metre WT530 in Russia has been delivered by local sales and rental company LTECH
The customer is a major construction company in Krasnodar Krai on the Southern borders of Russia. The lift will be used on a wide variety of jobs including bridge repair, tunnels, high-rise buildings, for sealing of joints, coating, cornice repair, panels and glass units mounting as well as on the sites for the 2014 winter Olympics in Sochi.
The WT530 is the larger Wumag in Russia and is mounted on three axle Mercedes Actros 2632, with a 8.67 metre outrigger spread and automatic leveling. Lift capacity ranges from 300 to 700kgs while maximum outreach is

LTECH also provided a three day operator and maintenance training course for the customer’s operators and mechanics with the support of Wumag factory staff.
Before heading south the lift was used on an inspection job on the new head office building of Aeroflot at Sheremetyevo airport near Moscow.
LTECH says that it has enquiries on hand for several more large – 50 metres plus - Wumag truck mounts for delivery later this year.
