ERA Rental Awards

The European Rental Association is holding its annual convention in Manchester, UK yesterday and today. Last night it also held its annual awards dinner, the winners were……

Rental Product of the year:
Winner: Haulotte H28TJ+
Also nominated: Niftylift HR21 bi-energy, Dustcontrol air cleaner and Hitachi ZX14-3 min excavator.

Rental Company of the year – more than 10 depots:
Winner: Aggreko
Also nominated – A-Plant and Malthus.

Rental Company of the year under 10 depots:
Winner - Lipac of Sweden
Also nominated: Cofiloc, Destination Bulgaria and Høyde Service.

ERA Rental person of the year:
Winner: Mendes Migotto – Venpa Italy.
Also nominated: Pierre Boels of Boels Verhuur- Holland and Erkki Norvio – Ramirent.

Lifetime achievement award: Winner: George Burnett former CEO of Ashtead group.

Over 200 members, associate members, sponsors and guests attended the event at the Midland Hotel in Manchester and will be attending sessions through most of the day today.
