LTM11200 for Senn
Senn AG, of Oftringen, Switzerland has ordered a 1,200 tonne Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 All Terrain crane. Senn took the opportunity of the Intermat show in Paris last month to place the official order for the new crane.
The company sees the main application for the crane will be in the wind power sector, both in Switzerland and adjoining countries. Other markets will include power station construction, bridge building, and industrial operations.

An increase in the installation of wind power farms is forecast for Switzerland and the new crane has been ordered with the 100 metre main boom, Y-guying system, and luffing jib, optimised for wind power system assembly work.
Jörg Senn said: “Thanks to the engineering artistry and know-how from Liebherr, we will be able to start using this superlative piece of equipment from 2010. In financially difficult times we have shown courage, but we are absolutely certain that we have made the right decision."
