New trailer for Ooms

Bert Ooms Transport en Logistiek of Purmerend in the Netherlands has recently taken delivery of custom built covered semi low loader for use on delivery contracts for it’s customer Holland Lift, the heavy duty scissor lift manufacturer.

The new trailer will clearly be used for Holland Lift deliveries

The three axle trailer, supplied by Jumbo of Helmond is equipped with ABS anti lock brakes and a steered rear axle.
The upper structure or enclosure was supplied by Van Rijssel of Asten and is intended to keep the products clean and dry during delivery so that they arrive with the customer exactly as the left the production facility. Important when you are selling a premium product.

The structure is equipped with sliding end panels allowing it to be extended to a total width of three metres. While the roof can be elevated to provide an interior height of up to 3.25 metres behind the goose neck. Assuming of course that there are no bridges under four metres on the route.

The trailer with the sides opened and roof retracted

The trailer is also equipped with a 6.5 tonne winch and storage space for six aluminium ramps, located underneath the trailer. The canvas sides of the trailer are decorated with Holland Lift photographs and graphics, in order to gain both free advertising and to present the right image when arriving at a customers premises.
