Hiab to supply Finnish Defence Forces

Hiab has been awarded a contract to provide hooklifts and loader cranes to new 8x8 off-road trucks which will be supplied to the Finnish Defence Forces by Sisu Defence.

The order includes 20 Multilift MIH-165-SC integrated hooklifts equipped with container handling units, 40 Multilift MIH-165 integrated hooklifts and 39 HIAB XS 166 HiDuo loader cranes.

Delivery is scheduled to start at the end of summer 2009.

The MIH hooklift has been specifically designed for military use and it can handle both demountable platforms and marine containers when equipped with a container handling unit.
