Higher Access adds to fleet

Busy Ramsbottom-based narrow access platform hire specialist Higher Access, has purchased more tracked spider machines. Two CTE machines – a CS135 and a CS170 – and a Teupen Leo 23GT have been added, all going straight out on hire before being signwritten.

The diesel powered with 240V mains electric option allows both CTE machines to work internally or externally. The 110V supply to the cage means power tools can be used without trailing wires from height. The CS135 works to a maximum of 13.2 metres with a maximum of 6.9 metres of outreach, the CS170 has a maximum working height of 17 metres and up to 7.5 metres of outreach.

Higher Access has added two CTEs (including this CS170) and a Teupen spider platform to its fleet.

The Leo 23GT is less than a metre wide and has extremely low ground bearing pressure, allowing it to enter the arena easily and without causing any damage to the flooring. The platform has an 11.2 metre outreach and a working height of 23 metres.
