Blade expands self drive business

Blade Access Specialists based near Leeds, UK has taken delivery of the first of a number of CTE platforms for its self-drive and cross-hire business. The CTE Z21J - one of the first in the UK - is a 3.5 tonne chassis mounted platform offering 21 metres working height and 10 metre up and over outreach with zero tail swing.

“The Z21J'z fly boom combined with the Sigma two stage telescopic boom provides even greater versatility particularly for roof applications," said Blade’s Mark Bell. "The 3.5 tonne chassis allows all drivers the opportunity to take advantage of an easy to use vehicle mounted platform.”

Blade Access has recently moved into new purpose-built premises and taken delivery of a Palfinger Wumag WT450.
