Big Holland Lifts for Hi Reach

UK based aerial lift rental company, Hi-Reach has taken delivery of its fourth big Holland lift scissor this year, a Megastar G-320 - 34 metre (112ft) working height Rough Terrain lift. The unit went straight to work on the Media City project at Salford Quays in Manchester.

The big scissor copes easily with poor ground, thanks to its 35% gradeability

The order from Hi-Reach, which has now been delivered, was for two 22 metre units and two of the 34 metre Megastars. Hi-Reach is based in Swindon but works throughout the UK from a network of depots.

Last year the company’s self propelled fleet passed the 2,000 unit level, placing it among the top five aerial lift rental companies in the UK.

The three metre deck extension creates a 9.66m long platform

It has been successful with both large boom lifts and the bigger heavy duty scissors such as the new Holland Lifts both renting directly and through re-rent.

The Holland Lift 320 features a 9.66 metre extended platform, 1,000 kg lift capacity, 35 percent gradeability 34 metres/112ft of working height and excellent platform rigidity.
