Trico expands in Texas

Trico, the US based aerial lift rental company has opened a new location in San Antonio. Its second branch in Texas, following the opening of its Houston operation last year.

General manager Billy Abshire will have overall responsibility for the San Antonio and Houston operations, while Danny Lewis, has been appointed as Trico Lift service manager in San Antonio.

Ken Pustizzi Trico Lift’s president said: “San Antonio is a very exciting opening for us. It’s a great city and we’re happy to be here to support local business and industry as well as the development and activities happening throughout the area.”

Trico Lift was founded in 1952 by Joe Pustizzi, Ken’s father, selling farm equipment from his southern New Jersey gas station. After persuading a manufacturer to place equipment on consignment he moved into rental and later on discovered aerial lifts which now dominate the company’s business.

The new location will cover all of the company’s services, including, Sales, rental, training, service and inspection.
