Brightcast opts for Skyjack

Enfield based BrightCast Group Services has chosen Skyjack for its latest purchases of scissor and boom lifts, as it continues to build its powered access fleet.

The access specialist which was established in 1985 as a scaffold tower and non powered access specialist, entered the powered access market last year and the latest order with Skyjack, which are due to be delivered during the summer, will take the fleet to 80 units.

The company has also recruited John Young, previously of SGB and Access Rentals, as its new sales manager. He said: “We opted for the Skyjack range on this particular occasion because of their versatility and product quality across their range - which we know are well established across the industry”.

The order includes the UK’s first Skyjack 51AJ articulating boom lift, a number of 6832RTs and 9250 Scissor lifts.

Brightcast, which serves London and South east England, says that its fleet utilisation has remained high across all industry sectors.
