Direct Access up and running
Direct Access Hire, the UK company set up by ex directors of Access Rentals, Adrian Chapman and Keith Kendall following that company’s administration and subsequent acquisition by Haulotte, has established its headquarters in Bradford, Yorkshire.
The company, which now operates from three locations covering Yorkshire, Lancashire and the Midlands, has recently taken delivery of the first 13.5 metre platform height Holland lift Q-135EL24 heavy duty electric powered scissor lift to be delivered in the UK.
With a platform of over six metres long by 2.30 metres wide and 750kgs of unrestricted lift capacity, the new unit is expected to prove popular.

While a full Rough Terrain scissor lift, the new unit is battery powered and has been supplied with special, non marking RT tyres in order to permit its use indoors and on specialist flooring.
Adrian Chapman, sales and marketing director for Direct Access Hire, said: “This scissor lift is the first of a number of specialist equipment to be supplied by Holland lift and we are sure this will prove to be an asset to our customer base and their requirements.”
