Heli moves ahead with new premises

Belgian based sales and rental company Heli has obtained planning permission for its massive new premises. The company purchased the four hectare (10 acre), site on a new industrial zone close to the Wetteren exit of the E40 Brussels to Ghent highway, in 2008.

Heli's new workshops and offices

With the final plans for the new building approved, construction will begin in October, and when complete in late 2010 will provide the company with 50 percent additional space for growth. It will also allow the company to bring its scaffold, safety devices and aerial lift businesses back together again at a single location – they separate due to space limitations three years ago.

The company is also launching a new business Heli-Cat focusing on the rental of skid steer loaders and other earthmoving equipment.
