United appoints VP business development
United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental company, with a fleet of over 60,000 aerial lifts, has appointed Ned Graham as vice president business development.
Graham was previously senior vice president operations at competitor RSC, he decided to leave last August, after the company restructured its operational management. He had been with the company for 10 years.
Prior to that he was president and owner of Approved Equipment a sales and rental company, having begun his career with Manufacturers Hanover Trust in corporate lending.
Michael Kneeland, United’s chief executive said: “Ned’s nearly three decades of experience with equipment rental operations, including 10 years in the public sector, speaks for itself. He has an exceptional talent for realizing compelling opportunities on a national scale, across all business units and customer segments. Ned’s expertise makes him a strong addition to our senior team, and we are delighted to have him on board as we continue to pursue our strategic objectives.”
