Europlatform this week

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) will host its third Europlatform conference this week in Milan, Italy and has added an additional speaker to the line up.

Gerry Mulholland, HSE Leader at Crown House Technologies, part of the Laing O’Rourke Group, will speak on the selection of access equipment and how rental companies can lead on safety.

Mulholland’s presentation is based on his company’s study of work at height policies and procedures, which found aerial lifts to be safer and more effective compared with other methods of working at height.

He joins a range of speakers, which includes Genie president Tim Ford, Antonio Gomez de la Vega, director of JLG Financial Solutions, Cees van der Kooij, chief operating officer of Loxam and Mendes Migotto, managing director of Venpa3 – the Italian rental company.

The event will be held at the Atahotel Expo Fiera in Milan this Tuesday, September 15th.
