Co-operative Food Retail Logistics operates a fleet of over 1,000 vehicles and delivers temperature controlled, frozen and ambient products to 3,200 Co-Operative Food stores.
Mark Arnold of Planet said: "The JLG units have maintenance-free batteries that fit in with The Co-operative Group's standards and requirements. Additionally, the 'direct electric drive' of the machines makes them suitable because the use of hydraulic oil is limited, making them 98 percent cleaner than other alternatives and considerably increases run-time between charges."
