JLG promotes Nelson

JLG has appointed Bob Nelson as vice-president, field sales and service for North America. Nelson replaces Brent Yohn, who has been appointed vice president and general manager of Jerr-Dan, a sister company within Oshkosh.

In his new role Nelson will be responsible for leading the North American region in the development and implementation of sales, market development and field support initiatives.

Bob Nelson

Nelson joined JLG in 2003, with the acquisition of OmniQuip, where he was regional sales manager. In 2007 he was promoted to regional vice president responsible for all field sales and service personnel in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Chris Mellott vice president, sales and market development for the Americas said: “Throughout his career at JLG, Bob has exhibited strong sales and service leadership. In his expanded role, he will ensure that JLG field sales and service teams continue to deliver and improve upon the world-class support our customers have come to expect.”
