Kranlyft to launch new suction lift

Kranlyft will launch a new 300kg glass suction lift developed in partnership with Wirth, owner of the Oktopus brand and its German distributor, Conmac.

The new unit which will be formally unveiled at Bauma features 360 degree rotation and 90 degree tilt and mounts onto the cat head of a Maeda mini crane. The unit itself incorporates electric cylinders that provide 95 degrees of step rotation, 30 degrees plus or minus of swivelling and 120 degrees of tilt.

The four pad unit can extend from overall dimensions of 850mm x 955 mm to 1,265mm x 1,840mm.

Kranlyft says that the Glass Suction Unit can be fitted and ready to go in under 30 minutes, with full remote control functionality, allowing jobs to be completed quickly and cost effectively.

The new Glass suction lifter

Developed by Wirth specifically for the Maeda MC285 spider crane, adaptor brackets will now be developed for its use with the MC305 and MC405. In addition it will also be possible to use it suspended from the hook.
