Galizia makes tracks

Italian pick & carry crane manufacturer Galizia, will launch its first track mounted crane at SAIE in Bologna tomorrow.

The new tracked version of its two tonne G20, called the GK20 features a new 48 volt AC drive electrical system and an extending undercarriage.

With tracks retracted overal width is just 820mm


In the retracted transport position the overall width is just 820mm allowing it to squeeze through a standard doorway. For maximum capacity the tracks extend to 1.22 metres, which also provides a stable base to travelling on uneven ground.

The wide 1.22m stance provides good stability and low weight


Overall length is just 2.24 metres, while height is 1.7 metres.
The unit includes full radio remote controls for both drive and boom functions.
