The units ordered include the 21 metre SP21 wheeled booms with four metre baskets and the four metre SP14 with same four metre basket. Capacity is 350kg on both models. Aichi also offers a 5.5 metre wide version of the basket with 250kgs platform capacity.

The new boom lifts due for delivery this month, join some new Aichi scissor lifts added earlier this year along with the more traditional Aichi crawler mounted boom lifts.

Note:

Before you write to us about the fact that the photos show two men not wearing harnesses: there remains a strong resistance in many parts of Holland to the wearing of harnesses and lanyards, especially in low-level and yard environments such as this, where we were assured that the platforms were close to the gorund and the engine swiched off.

Yes it still sets a bad example - We don't agree or condone it... and are doing what we can to communicate the benefits and reasons for wearing a harness in a boom lift, photos such as this are though a fact of life.
