AFI adds large and small

UK based access rental company AFI-Uplift has taken delivery of two of the largest and 20 of the smallest scissor lifts available as part of its long term expansion plans.

The company has taken two 104ft / 32 metre platform height Holland Lift Megastar four wheel drive, four wheel steer Rough Terrain high capacity scissor lifts to serve the top end of the market.

At the same time AFI has purchased 20 Youngman BoSS X3, push around scissor lifts with a platform height of 8.3ft/ 2.5 metres.

AFI managing director Richard Saunders said: “We are making the investments in response to customer demand at both ends of the working at height spectrum.”

The new machines will add to AFI’s fleet of over 4,300 machines operating from 17 depots throughout the UK.
